Amrit ceremony
On the day of Baisakhi in 1699,GURU GOBIND SINGH JI performed the ceremony of preoaring and administering Amrit(khande-di-Pahul)for the first time to the five Sikhs and brought them into the khalsa Brotherhood at Kesgarh Sahib in Anandpur Sahib.
